As chief learning officer, April Aandal is responsible for developing employee performance strategies that meet Dimensional's business needs. She manages the onboarding experience for new hires, talent development, and performance management processes, with an emphasis on cultivation of the firm's culture and values. She is responsible for expanding the firm's career development model to include management, leadership, and business-relevant programs while also offering employees a map for reaching their own career aspirations. April joined Dimensional in 2004 as a regional director in Financial Advisor Services, where she led the development and execution of advisor study groups. As a key component of the FAS sales plan, these groups provide a forum for financial advisors otherwise unaffiliated with one another to network and learn from each other's applications and uses of Dimensional funds.

Prior to joining Dimensional, April was the vice president of professional development for Assante Asset Management, where she was responsible for the development and delivery of professional development programs for financial advisors. She has been in the financial services industry since 1985, holding sales leadership and educational roles.

April holds a master's degree in education, specializing in workplace learning and leadership development.
